The CNC Machine Maintenance Technician requires a vigorous safety orientation and application of advanced CNC Machine Maintenance skills. It includes a variety of objectives such as keeping CNC and Conventional Machines in good repair and safe operating condition; installing and maintaining complex CNC Machines; setting up, adjusting, and maintaining machines; machine upgrades and modifications.
You will have the opportunity to:
Troubleshoot and repair CNC Milling, Grinding, and Turning Centers
Perform preventative maintenance and work with operators to guide them in PM’s
Maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
PLC diagnosis and repair
Trouble shooting of CNC controls and system operation to effect repairs as needed
While the focus of this position will be CNC equipment it will not be exclusively CNC equipment. Repairs to conventional machining equipment and other factory production and facility equipment will be required.
Work with minimal supervision at times and work as a team on larger projects or tasks requiring multiple people
REQUIREMENTS
High school education with advanced training in CNC and conventional machine maintenance, electronics, and/or AS in Manufacturing Sciences or related field
3 years’ experience as CNC maintenance Technician
Able to effectively train others and help develop co-worker skills, prior supervisory experience a plus
Working knowledge of automation, electrical systems, hydraulics, vacuum systems, and CNC equipment
Comfortable wearing all forms of personal protective equipment devices such as respirators and protective gloves, work shoes, and eyewear
