Cnc Machine Operator
**Description** Operating machines, doing inspections on their own, Load material and devices, If they find parts that are not up to spec they have to inform their lead. Have to do a basic blueprint test, Math skills, have to document inspections, make sure machine is running. Responsibilities • Assumes responsibility for operating Vertical Machining Centers from written and verbal instructions per WI00004.9. • Reviews traveler, set-up instructions, drawings, inspection forms and any other relevant documentation for each job. • Follows written and verbal instructions to loads raw material into vises and fixture. • Deburrs in process and completed parts per instructions. • Inspects parts per MIR and other relevant documentation. • Advises set-up person or Production Lead of any non-conformance or other problems. • Performs these tasks in an efficient and effective manner. • Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times. • Makes suggestions to Production Lead & Production Manager regarding potential improvements in part processes as well as the Vertical Cell department. • Ensures compliance with ISO 9001:2008 and all governmental regulations. • Performs other Duties as assigned by the Production Lead and Production Manager. **Skills** Cnc, Machining, machine operating, machine operation, inspection, Blueprint, mechanical inspection, deburring, Cnc machine, Cnc operation, Cnc mill, Cnc lathe, Tooling, Tolerances, Machine operater **Top Skills Details** Cnc, Machining, machine operating, machine operation, inspection **Additional Skills & Qualifications** General Requirements The Machine Operator position must have the skills and experience to operate machines in a safe, efficient and accurate manner. They must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with other team members, ensuring instructions are clear and concise. Because of safety and equipment risk it is important operators are at an appropriate skill level. Skills Required • Should be High School Graduate or GED equivalent. • Must have sufficient experience with Vertical Machining Centers to operate in a safe and efficient manner. • Preferably, candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience. • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. • Must be able to use standard measuring tools effectively. • Must have adequate math skills. • Must be very detailed oriented with good personal organizational skills. • Must be familiar with tooling, fixturing, indexers etc. • Must be able to complete inspection documentation and determine when parts are out of tolerance. • Should be able to train other operators in the process of manufacturing parts. • Must have good manual dexterity and be able to lift 70lbs. • Should have experience in an ISO 9001:2008 environment, 13485 would be helpful. **Experience Level** Intermediate Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
