Roles & Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Speed Lathes, Hone, and occasionally CNC lathes in order to meet daily production and quality requirements. Must be able to interpret blueprints, setup machines, edit offsets within programs, and perform tool offset adjustments as required to machine specialty bearings. Must be able to perform inspections of dimensions machined, including threads, inner diameters, outer diameters, lengths, widths and undercuts/grooves. Must model safe behaviors. Must follow company quality control standards to include in-process inspection and documentation. Must be able to read and interpret engineering prints. Must be able to give and receive written and oral instructions in English. Must be able to make decisions, communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to read and interpret engineering prints. Must be able to give and receive written and oral instructions in English.
Experience:
Must have at least two years of current CNC lathe setup experience.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:
Formal CNC training desired. Must be a quick learner.
Physical & Environmental Factors:
Must be able to lift 25 pounds unaided. Must wear protective toe with metatarsal guard footwear and safety glasses while working in the facility.

Pay Range: $20 to $27/hour
