Volt is hiring a CNC Machinist for our client located in Watertown, WI.

\r\n\r\n

Position: CNC Machinist
\r\nLocation: Watertown, WI
\r\nShift: 3 PM - 1 AM
\r\nPay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential

\r\n\r\n

*Compensation is based on experience, education, location, certifications, and specific job duties.

\r\n\r\nWhat You’ll Do:\r\n\r\n

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating precision equipment to craft high-quality components for crane systems. You will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOperate Cutting-Edge Machinery: Work with CNC lathes, machining centers, and hobbing machines to produce parts like shafts, gears, drums, and other machined components.\r\n\tPrecision Interpretation: Read and interpret part drawings, ensuring specifications meet precise dimensional standards.\r\n\tMonitor and Improve: Identify and report any variations in the process and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues.\r\n\tTool Maintenance & First-Piece Inspections: Maintain tooling and conduct initial inspections, making adjustments as needed.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat We’re Looking For:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tExperience: 3+ years working with CNC lathes, and knowledge of tooling and shop practices. Prior experience with machinist tools and equipment is preferred.\r\n\tTechnical Skills: Strong ability to use hand tools, precision instruments, and interpret blueprints and work orders.\r\n\tSetup Expertise: Previous experience in machine setup is required.\r\n\r\n\r\nPerks:\r\n\r\n
