**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical/horizontal 2, 3, or 5 axis milling equipment. The role involves reading GD & T, drawings, specs, and other work instructions to generate tool paths for 2D and 3D milling. The machinist will set up, operate, and monitor mills **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate vertical/horizontal 2, 3, or 5 axis milling equipment. + Read and interpret GD & T, drawings, specs, and work instructions. + Generate tool paths for 2D and 3D milling. + Set up, operate, and monitor mills + Regulate machining parameters such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut. + Select, align, and secure work holding fixtures and angle plates. + Inspect and verify finished work pieces to specifications. **Essential Skills** + Experience in the automotive industry, specifically working on doors, hoods, and fenders. + Proficiency in working with large machines such as Mitsubishi, MECOF, OKK, Pratt, YCM, Okuma (4-12 meters). + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform CNC programming. + Experience with controls such as Heidenhain, Fanuc, Fidia, Mitsubishi, Okuma, SMIRT. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with tools such as calipers, depth mics (non-digital), bore gauges, and micrometers. + Previous employment with major automotive companies is beneficial. + Experience with troubleshooting and die setting. **Why Work Here?** You will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation time, 10 paid holidays, a 401K plan, and tuition reimbursement for courses related to the DTG line of work.
