Position Summary:

OPEX Corporation is looking for multiple full time CNC Machinists to work at our Pennsauken, NJ location. We are looking for workers who are able to commit to a full time schedule during our second or third shift. We are currently looking for workers who have experience using Mazak turning equipment or Haas Milling machines. We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening.

Essential Responsibilities:

Worker will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce parts They look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production Follow written and verbal procedures for machining and other duties Load parts and/or material, prove programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, debur and inspect quality parts for conformance to requirements Inspect your work produced using micrometer; calipers, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications Study and interpret drawings, specification or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements Ensures resources are continually operating in a safe manner Works as a team member, meeting professional standards of cooperation, communication and appearance Maintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner, arriving and departing for assignments and meeting as requirements Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement for the position is 2+ years as a machinist Strongly prefer 5+ years of experience as a machinist Must have experience working with Mazak turning center Must have experience working with Haas milling machine Must have set up experience Candidate must be able to provide their own tools Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds

Physical/Work Environments:

Worker will be working in a production shop setting Worker must be able to lift 50 pounds Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift
