Our client, a manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN. is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating and manufacturing using CNC machinery, with a focus on precision and quality. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, as well as working closely with production staff to ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes.

Duties

Load and Unload PartsSetup Machine with work and tools offsetsunderstanding of different types of machining tool geometries and coatingsquality check parts with precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, & gaugesperform functional checks and preventative maintenance as per machine requirementsunderstanding of CNC programming languages like G-code & Hurco Conversationaloccasionally operate other machines like Drill press, band saw, bridgeport mill, horizontal broach

Experience

Prior experience working as a CNC operator.Outstanding attention to detail2 years of relevant experience or recent completion of training program/degreeCNC machine set up, operation , live tooling, probing experienceexcellent attendancehigh school diploma / GEDMust pass a drug test and criminal background check.
