Machine parts to specifications using machines such as: Horizontal Boring Mills and Vertical Turning LathesAble to understand and edit G code and M code programsUnderstand speeds and feeds for machining and proper set upsCalculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers and micrometersSet up, adjust and operate all machinesCheck work pieces to ensure alignment and materials onto machinesClean lubricate machines as neededMonitor the feed and speed of the manual and CNC machinesWork and think safety at all times
