Individual will perform basic set-up steps and operate a variety of machines in the Global Machining Center of Excellence. CNC Lathe, Mill/Robo Drill and EDM machining. Second Shift 3pm-1am (Mon-Thurs)
Responsibilities Performing all basic set-ups and all machining functions associated with the machinery in the Valve Cell DepartmentPerforming bench type operations which include polishing, and other operations of the more complicated nature.Operator will be responsible for reading blueprints and verifying with measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, etc.) the dimensions of the produced part to the blueprint Qualifications Graduate of a vocational school in machining or equivalent preferred. Manual or CNC machining experience preferred.Familiar with blueprints, measuring instruments and have a working knowledge of decimals preferred.
