Shift: 2nd shift 2:00PM-10:30PM Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $28-$30/hour based on experience
We are a precision manufacturer of aluminum and steel products for private and military applications. Our work primarily serves defense companies such as Lockheed Martin, BAE, Northrop Grumman, and the US Navy. A significant portion of our business involves manufacturing aluminum computer and systems enclosures.
ResponsibilitiesComplete and independent setup of all CNC and manual machines in a productive manner.Obtain standard or develop and utilize improvised tooling and fixturing as required to machine parts to required tolerances as specified by blueprints and other work instructions.Operate machining equipment in a manner that ensures all quality and efficiency requirements are met.Plan tooling, programming, and material requirements for the next scheduled job to ensure a systematic and efficient changeover.Understand CNC machine programming and modify programs at the terminal as needed.Maintain accurate written and computerized records of tooling requirements and program changes.Perform periodic maintenance as required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC Machines (Mills), HAAS, FADAL.Experience with Micrometers, Calipers, and Aluminum.Why Work Here?We offer a clean and organized work environment with a team of 20-30 shop employees. Work Environment
The shop does not require steel toe shoes; however, closed-toe shoes or work boots are necessary. No shorts are allowed; jeans and t-shirts are acceptable. Safety glasses will be provided if needed. The shop is very clean, and 99% of the work is done on aluminum. The available shift is from 2pm to 10:30pm.
