Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

This position involves working with various CNC Lathe machines throughout the facility. The role requires setting up, operating, and running machinery, performing tool changeovers, making program adjustments, and ensuring precision and productivity.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all setups of the machine; operate and run machinery.Perform all tool changeovers and adjustments.Make minor edits and adjustments to programs as needed.Run and measure to close and exact tolerances.Run, operate, and ensure productivity of CNC machines.Make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make appropriate adjustments to meet part specifications.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC machining, CNC lathe, and CNC setup.Proficiency in G Code programming.Ability to run and operate CNC mills.Experience with machines such as Haas, Kitamura, Okuma, Cincom Citizen, and Mori Seiki.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Mori Seiki Twin Spindle/Two Turret Lathe.Knowledge of various machines in the shop, including CNC turning, horizontal machining, lathes, vertical knee milling, and vertical machining.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift opening, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with 4-5 hours of overtime available weekly. The work environment is a climate-controlled manufacturing facility that is very clean, quiet, extremely organized, and air-conditioned. The machinist will work on a team of 15-17 other machinists on the 1st shift. The machine shop includes various advanced CNC machines and support equipment such as sand blasting, grinders, honing machines, laser engraving machines, drill press, hydraulic press, band saw, and MIG weld machines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00
