**Job Title: CNC Machinist**
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. You will also inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed to optimize machine performance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.
+ Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
+ Make adjustments to machines as needed to optimize performance.
+ Operate a preset machine by loading and unloading parts, and starting and stopping the machine program.
+ Keep supervisor aware of any machine troubles in a timely manner.
+ Inspect own work, keeping supervisor aware of questionable parts in a timely manner.
+ Perform bench work operations (deburring, sanding, finishing, etc.) while the machine is running.
+ Perform all duties in a safe and proper manner while maintaining a clean work environment.
+ Monitor machine and equipment to reduce the risk of damaged tools or bad parts, including checking coolant levels, unloading the chip hopper, and checking oil levels.
+ Monitor cycle time and verify or correct time listed on job traveler.
+ Monitor, change, or repair tooling within the machine.
+ If part is nonconforming, adjust the machine by making offset changes to fix part errors.
+ Setup machine from start to run a new or repeat job for production.
+ Ensure parts are in conformance with customer print and requirements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with CNC Horizontal Machines such as Yasda, Kiwa, Mori Seki.
+ Experience with CNC Vertical Machines such as Fanuc, YCM.
+ Experience with CNC Turning Centers such as Daewoo, Feeler, SNK Prodigy, Femco Durga.
+ Proficiency in using tools like calipers, CNC mills, drill presses, and blueprint reading.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical principles and basic math.
+ Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Previous experience in a CNC machining role.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

**Work Environment**
Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm. Overtime may be required and sometimes optional, with potential weekend work to complete jobs. Each candidate has their own workbench and can sit while working. The environment is temperature controlled, maintaining a consistent 68 degrees. Physical demands include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, carrying, and lifting parts, with force requirements ranging from 10-50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary to read measuring devices, machine gauges, and other instruments. Safety equipment is mandatory when exposed to high noise levels, moving equipment, and hazardous materials. **Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00

**Workplace Type**
