Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a 1st shift position from 7am to 3:30pm. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure high-quality production of precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with G-code, mill and lathe operations, and blueprint reading.
ResponsibilitiesObserve all safety rules and regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.Stop machines to remove finished work pieces or to change tooling, setup, or work piece placement, according to required machining sequences.Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.Review program specifications or blueprints to determine and set machine operations and sequencing, finished work piece dimensions, or numerical control.Monitor machines during operations to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machines to compensate for problems.Ensure reliable attendance.Abide by safety regulations.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Familiarity with Tool and Mold Making.Familiarity with G-Code, CAD, and CAM.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures pertaining to the general operator.Must have or obtain forklift certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC machining and blueprint reading.Strong attention to detail and precision in work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The job is located in a clean and organized machine shop within the CNC/Engineering building. The company operates across three buildings, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
