This job will primarily be responsible assisting with machining processes, tool selection, CNC programming, and troubleshooting complex machining issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: + Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of machining processes, tool selection, material properties, and CNC programming. + Computer Skills: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for creating and editing CNC programs. + Mathematics: Strong mathematical skills for interpreting technical drawings, calculating dimensions, and tolerances. + Precision and Accuracy: Keen attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances and precise measurements. + Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of machine mechanics, tool setup, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes. + Quality Control: Proficiency in using various measuring instruments and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications. + Problem-Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and address complex machining issues. + Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, make decisions on tool paths, and optimize machining sequences. + Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with advancements in machining technology and techniques. Ancillary Duties: + Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall operations of the XL Specialized Trailers. Supervision Received: Works under broad supervision. The employee is responsible for planning and carrying out the assignment, keeping the supervisor informed of progress and potential problems or future implications. Licensing and Certification: None required Education and Experience: + A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
