Our client, a global leader in the manufacture of off-highway wheels, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Armstrong, IA

Pay Range:  $22.35/hour

What's the Job?

Set up and operate CNC machines according to process routings, blueprints, and verbal instructions. Position and secure tools in the machine as instructed by process sheets and setup procedures. Run first piece and perform checks to ensure dimensions meet specifications. Make autonomous maintenance adjustments to machinery and fluid levels. Train and assist new operators on setup and operation of machines.

What's Needed?

High School diploma or GED required. Applied knowledge of controls and instrumentation. Ability to read blueprints and assemble parts according to specifications. Knowledge of manufacturing quality and mechanical inspection tools. Willingness to cross-train in other areas of the plant as required.
