We are currently seeking a Service & Repair Technician to join our AERO team in our Gul Circle office.  Reporting to the Production Scheduling Supervisor your focus will be Integrate innovative mechanical solutions across Honeywell. You will participate and engage in multi-disciplined preventative maintenance focused projects that support the organization's business strategies. You will have a direct impact on business unit, function, and overall site success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Machining and bench fitting repair on aero engine hardware in accordance with approved manuals and repair documents. Meet drawing and dimensional specifications requirements using various air tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.Proficient in Vertical Milling is a must (conventional and CNC assist).Additional skill in lathe is a plus (conventional and CNC assist).Ability to do simple CNC programming would be a plus.General knowledge of usage of air tools, shop equipment and hand tools.Inspect finished product and accurately use various industry standard measuring tools.Ensures that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents. Perform equipment maintenance via establish TPM guidelines.Practice 5S principals and maintain work area for operation and cleanlinessInitiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.

MUST HAVE:

At least a NTC certificate or higherAble to read, write and communicate in EnglishMinimum  2-3 years of vertical milling various materials.Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of aircraft component manuals and/or publications.Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills. Willing to work on rotating shift

WE VALUE:

Committed and willing to work in machining environment.Good understanding of 5S and TPM concepts.Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.Experience and understanding of Six Sigma and Lean tools will be an added advantage.
