Your Role
Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuriesSet-up and operate CNC Horizontal LathesRead CNC programs, familiar with G & M codesMake edits to CNC programs to maximize efficiency and reduce errorRead and interpret Engineered Blue Print dwgsUnderstand and apply geometric tolerancesSet up and safely use various inspection tools and gages (i.e. inner diameter (I/D) & outer diameter (O/D) Mics, calipers, Pi-tape, bore gages, Tri-mics, thread gages, etc...)Machine to required tolerances of .0005” - .005”Determine optimal machining feeds and speeds and tool selectionsWork effectively with team to ensure successful delivery to customerBasic Qualifications
High School Diploma / GEDMinimum 5 years CNC Machining Experience preferredDesired Characteristics
Experience with Mazatrol Programming is a plus.Experience with horizontal turning, vertical turning is a plus.Ability to follow all safety rules and wear all PPE as required.Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc ControlsProven ability to use shop math, including trigonometry and geometry.Ability to follow work rules, carry out instructions either written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to work well with others.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Desire to take ownership and accountability in work and in company success.Ability to work in a lean and fast-paced environment.The salary range for this position is 55K to 65K USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
