As a CNC Machinist II (Set-Up) you’ll play a crucial role in our mission by operating and troubleshooting advanced CNC machines to craft high-quality parts for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. You’ll work with a variety of machinery, including lathes, mills, grinders such as Haas, Fadal, Mori Seiki and Okuma, ensuring precision and quality in every piece you produce.

2nd Shift hours: Mon-Fri, 2:30p-11:00p

What We’re Looking For: • Expertise in independently setting up complex, advanced, and non-routine jobs 3 and 5 axis mills and lathes

• Proficiency in using measuring equipment like micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to follow written procedures and work routers accurately.

• Experience in dismantling jigs, tools, and special fixtures.

• Skills in making and modifying tooling as necessary.

• Willingness to train and mentor co-workers on CNC machine operations and inspection techniques.

• A keen eye for maintaining drawing specifications by monitoring for dimensional and visual accuracy.

• Commitment to safe handling of raw materials and hazardous waste, in line with environmental standards.

• Dedication to performing preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
