What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist:

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.Utilizing multiple tools, you'll operate 3- & 4-axis machining centers.Read and interpret blueprints.Use calipers and micrometers, along with all other standard shop measuring instruments.Understand programming concepts and be able to edit tool location and part offset programs.Actively participate in a team-based, lean manufacturing environment.Perform first-piece inspection on parts and consistently keep parts within specifications.
