Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior CNC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC and other machines at our manufacturing plant. Our machines include a variety of Swiss lathes, conventional lathes, and mills. Brands of machine on site include Star, Miyano, Sharp, Haas, Okamoto, Mori, and others. As part of the Maintenance Team, they will also be responsible for various maintenance tasks throughout the facility; and will participate in the company-wide lean conversion process. The role is fully on-site, first shift position, located at our climate-controlled facility in West Chester, PA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure preventative maintenance procedures are completed – includes hydraulic, electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsContribute to the continuous improvement of our Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for the facilityInvestigate equipment failures to diagnose root cause of failure, implement repairs, and recommend future preventative maintenance to avoid future failuresPerform machine and equipment installation, relocation, removal/salvage -Perform maintenance duties for the facilityIdentify and procure any equipment, parts, components, or tooling as neededResearch, design, evaluate, install, and generate maintenance records for equipment necessary to meet operational requirementsManage outside services personnelLead by example for safety and quality through discipline to 6S programCRITICAL COMPETENCIES:
Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to read pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematicsComputer and database skillsLeadership and team management skillsProblem solving skills and critical thinking in order to design, develop, execute, and improve systemsUnderstanding of lean culture and systemsKnowledge of maintenance and technology to apply these principals to equipment selection, design, procurement, installation, application, and repair Drive to learn new principles and skills for continuous improvementAbility to work overtime when neededEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
