CNC Maintenance Technician III

As the CNC Maintenance Technician III, you will be responsible for conducting, maintaining, testing, and repairing CNC machining equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Utilizing your knowledge of mechanical principles, you will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and apply skills to restore machinery to optimal operation. You will provide skilled mechanical support across Manufacturing, supporting a safe, efficient production environment.

You Will:

Troubleshoot and repair CNC mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Install, start up, and shut down equipment, following company and OSHA safety protocols.

Advise operators and line mechanics on safe operation procedures for mechanical equipment and components.

Inform management and maintenance personnel of potential mechanical problems and risks.

Maintain performance and maintenance records for key equipment.

Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) functions and assist with technical troubleshooting.

Assist and train other Maintenance Technicians in repair procedures and best practices.

Adapt to changing department needs, including overtime and shift coverage.

Maintain housekeeping standards in compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.

Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols, reporting any job-related injury or illness immediately.

Meet company attendance and punctuality standards.

You Have:

Accredited apprenticeship program certification in a technical field or the equivalent.

3+ years of experience with mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems and Fanuc Controls.

Previous experience and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ability to work well with all levels of personnel, whether individually or in a team environment.

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with operators and team members.

Experience in developing or implementing a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.

High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required.

Strong safety focus and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
