**CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to operate large horizontal CNC mills. The role involves selecting materials, running jobs, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. **Responsibilities** + Operate large horizontal CNC mills. + Select and prepare materials for machining. + Ensure parts run smoothly and meet quality standards. + Perform self-checks on parts to ensure adherence to quality standards. + Read and interpret blueprints. + Set up machines for various jobs. + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines. **Essential Skills** + Experience with CNC machining. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Ability to set up machines. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Experience operating mill machines. + Ability to work with large parts and machines + Experience in a smaller shop environment with new machines **Work Environment** You will be working in a smaller shop that features all brand new machines. The facility is spacious and very clean, accommodating large parts and machines. The work schedule is 2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday, from 4:15 PM to 2:45 AM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $75000.00/yr. This is a great opportunity to learn about machined parts that support the Aerospace/defense/gas and oil industries.
