**Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to set up, make edits, and operate a CNC Mill with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of G Code and the ability to machine parts for downhole packers within a tolerance of +-.001. This position requires experience in machining threads, including API rotary shoulder connections, Buttress, Stub Acme, Acme, and 8 round-10 round tapered connections. The candidate will need to perform their own setups and make necessary edits, with a strong understanding of G codes and canned cycles. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC Mill with Fanuc controls. + Make edits to the CNC program as needed. + Machine parts for downhole packers within +-.001 tolerance. + Perform threading tasks, including API rotary shoulder connections, Buttress, Stub Acme, Acme, and 8 round-10 round tapered connections. + Perform own setups and make necessary edits. + Read and run canned cycles. + Understand and interpret G codes. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC Mill Machinist experience with Fanuc controls. + Experience machining threads (API rotary shoulder connections, Buttress, Stub Acme, Acme, 8 round-10 round tapered connections). + Ability to perform own setups. + Proficiency in reading and understanding G-code. + Ability to read and run canned cycles. + Possession of own tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a downhole tool shop is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values precision and expertise in a clean, air-conditioned shop environment. Shift hours are from 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with frequent Saturday work. Upon direct hire, steel toes and uniforms will be provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
