Element has an opportunity for a CNC Mill Operator (2nd Shift) whose primary responsibility is to operate various CNC and manual equipment in the production process. Secondary responsibilities consist of operating various Machine Shop equipment (CNC and conventional).
Salary: $23- $27/hr DOE + $1.00 for shift differential
Responsibilities Responsible to set-up, operate and monitor machinery to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner, including machining a variety of samples to close tolerancesAbility to read and interpret documents such as drawings, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manualsExperience in the use of machine tools and inspection tools such as calipers and micrometersAbility to review and apply Standard Operating Procedures and Quality requirements using GMP’sMust be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machinesMaintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned areaOther duties as assigned Skills / Qualifications Able to work second shift hours Monday through Friday from 2-10:30pm, occasional overtimeHS Diploma/GED preferredPrior CNC milling machine or CNC Lathe operation experience preferredTechnical/vocational training in related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinor programming skills a plusRecent NTMA enrollees or graduates encouraged to apply Company Overview
