CNC Milling Machinist - 1st Shift

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in 5-axis operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machining centers, including performing machine adjustments and troubleshooting controllers, machines, and processes. Interpret blueprint specifications to select tools and set appropriate feeds and speeds. Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality and accuracy. Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to production schedules. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machines. Monitor and re-order tools as necessary. Lift and handle materials up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Proven experience in CNC 3 & 4-axis milling setup and operations. Aerospace industry background preferred.
