**We are looking for a skilled CNC operator in the South County(Otay Mesa) area!** **Summary of Description:** + Candidates will start deburring and shadowing other associates for about 3 weeks, once they show capability, they will be assigned to a machine that best fits their previous experience. + They also have an assembly area where they may do some riveting, notching, install fasteners. + Paperless system for all set up sheets, everything they need is provided at each given work station + Will have opportunities to learn new machines as time goes on or if other people call out and they need help in other areas + In between machine run times it is best they keep busy by deburring other parts or getting them set up in the tumbler (teaming up to help other areas of the machine shop when it is warranted) **Daily Responsibilities:** + Set up and operate CNC 3 axis mills + Will use Mori Seiki, Haas and Fadal machines + Working with aluminum, copper, brass, carbon steel, chromalloy + Will grind, finish and deburr parts + Perform basic quality inspections and read blueprints using vernier calipers, digital micrometers, and gages + Mill and drill parts to specification + Measure and examine completed products for defects + Use micrometer, drop gage, vernier calipers, depth mic, and other measurement tools + Evaluation of finish for cutter wear or damage + Ability to read and interpret blueprints **Must Have Skills:** + Operate CNC mill (Hass, Mori Seiki and Fadal) + Load parts into a CNC mill + Quality inspections of parts + Micrometer, drop gage, calipers + Read blueprints + Ability to use/read caliper + Ability to set up and operate the machine + Must work independently + Ability to hit metrics in a production environment + Reading of blueprints **Hours:** **Monday -Friday 5am – 1:30pm** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
