Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our day and night-time crews. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience operating CNC machinery. This role is crucial for ensuring precision and quality in the production of components, utilizing advanced technology and techniques.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run efficiently and produce high-quality parts.Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.Operate additional equipment such as press brake machines as needed.Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Perform materials handling tasks, including loading and unloading materials from machines.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.Essential SkillsProven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.Experience with tooling setups and adjustments is preferred.Forklift operation experience is a plus.Additional Skills & Qualifications1+ years experience operating CNC, Plate Roller, press brake, plasma table.Experience with plasma table (burn table) and pipe profiler.Knowledge of working with carbon steel plate material.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

1 opening on 1st shift: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays. 2 openings on 2nd shift: 3:30 pm - 2 am Monday afternoon - Saturday morning. 40-60 hour work weeks. Large indoor pipe fabrication shop. Dusty, loud, lots of equipment, and materials inside.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
