Job Description:
Purpose:
Performs day-to-day machine operations in a machine center production environment to produce titanium parts.
Accountabilities:
- Regularly partners with CNC Operators I-III
- Interfaces with quality assurance and quality control to maintain quality of work produced
- Perform standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work
- Regular utilization of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- 20/20 vision with or without aid
Job Requirements:
High school minimum (college, technical, or trade preferred)Strong mechanical aptitudeBasic knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulationsKnowledge retention of FDA Quality System requirements ("Good Manufacturing Practices") and ISO 9001 requirements after trainingBasic CNC programming knowledge, enough to upload/download programs to machinesBasic English proficiency at a High School level both in oral communications and reading comprehensionAbility to work directly from blueprints and drawingsTechnical skills to produce a finished screw machine part after the machine is set up.Independently load a bar stock and change tools such as center drill without assistance.Capable of performing tool offsets in order to make a part according to blueprintBasic data entry skills and familiarity with PC.
