CNC Operator / Manufacturing Machinist
**Job Description:** + We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up, operating, and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment. + The Machinist will work from blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to produce precision metal parts and assemblies. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. **Responsibilities:** + Plan, layout, and set up machining jobs based on work orders, blueprints, process sheets, and sketches. + Operate and adjust various manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine tools to cut, shape, and finish metal parts to precise dimensions. + Review and interpret technical drawings and engineering instructions to ensure accurate production. + Communicate directly with engineers to understand part requirements and assembly purposes. + Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure that machined parts meet specified tolerances and standards. + Identify and diagnose machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as necessary. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies. + Document work processes, measurements, and any adjustments made during machining operations. **Experience:** + Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. + Experience operating manual, CNC, and other machine shop equipment. + Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting metal parts. + Ability to troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform repairs. + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. + Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and team members. **Skills:** + Reading and interpreting blueprints + Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions + Operating manual, CNC **Education:** + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is a plus. **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
