CNC Programmer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in Siemens NX and Vericut software. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience programming 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines, ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of CNC programming, tooling, and machining operations to produce complex aerospace components. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines, ensuring accurate and efficient machining of complex parts. - Simulate and verify CNC programs using Vericut software to identify and resolve potential issues before production. - Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to review design specifications, select appropriate tools, and determine the best machining strategies. - Adjust and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed to improve machining performance and reduce cycle times. - Maintain and update CNC program libraries, ensuring that all programs are properly documented and version-controlled. - Conduct machine setup and first article inspections to ensure that the programs are producing parts to the required specifications. - Provide technical support to machine operators and resolve any programming-related issues that may arise during production. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC programming, machining technology, and software updates to continuously improve processes. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with a strong background in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines. - Proficiency in Siemens NX and Vericut software is required. - Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - A degree or certification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
