CNC Programmer

Adecco is currently seeking a CNC Programmer, in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this CNC Programmer position, candidates must have a minimum of 3-years previous direct experience in manufacturing environment. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for setting and operating multi-Axis CNC Lathes with live tooling and CNC Mills, ensuring production efficiency and high part quality are consistently maintained. This position involves following technical drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work area.
**Responsibilities of the CNC Programmer:**
· Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Lathes and Mills.
· Identify signs of tool wear and make necessary process or tool adjustments.
· Interpret process sheets and mechanical drawings with a strong understanding of GD&T.
· Utilize general measuring instruments, including indicators, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, gage blocks, rules, protractors, and height gauges.
· Perform routine machine maintenance, including changing fluids and filters.
· Keep a clean work environment and maintain machine work areas.
· Adhere to company policies and documented procedures.

**Requirements of the CNC Programmer:**
· High School Diploma or Technical Training Certificate.
· 3-5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills.
· Technical training or apprenticeship focusing on CNC setups and operation.
· Proficient in reading blueprints with a solid understanding of GD&T.
· Familiarity with both Metric and English measuring systems.
· Ability to use various measuring tools and instruments.
· Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
· Capable of writing and editing NC programs with a solid understanding of cutting parameters.
· Experience with Mori Seiki, MAPPS-4, Mazak, Mazatrol, and Mastercam is a plus.

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
