CNC Programmer Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist - Night Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our team on the night shift. Our company specializes in 3D printing, design, fabrication, machining, prototyping, and tooling for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. If you have a strong experience in CNC machining and programming, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities** + Operate and write programs for 3- and 5-axis mills. + Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). + Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. + Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; trimming heads. + Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. + Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. + Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC experience (programming/setup & operation). + Ability to produce parts off blueprints/schematics (start to finish). + High precision experience (at least two years, including at least six months in Aerospace). + Flexibility with work schedule. + Experience with Heidenhain controls. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Haas machines. + Proficiency in using Mastercam, SolidWorks, Taurus, and CNC lathe/milling. + Strong understanding of GD&T. + Familiarity with Heidenheim controls. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a gorgeous facility, a great benefits package, and competitive wages.
