Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team in a small machine shop that supports a large overhead crane manufacturing company. The successful candidate will program and operate CNC Mazak Lathes, focusing on creating Mazatrol programs for various parts used in overhead cranes. This role involves programming 50% of the time and operating the machines the other 50%. The parts handled will primarily be medium to small in size.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Mazatrol programs on Mazak machines.Operate CNC Mazak Lathes.Program and set up CNC machines.Handle medium to small parts used in overhead cranes.Ensure precision and quality in all machined parts.Essential SkillsAt least 4 years of experience programming on Mazatrol.Experience operating Mazatrol machines.Ability to program and set up CNC machines.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in CNC programming and operating.Experience with Mastercam.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is in a non-climate controlled, small machine shop located on the same grounds as the manufacturing facility. The work hours are from 6am to 4:30pm, with the possibility of staying late and working on Saturdays when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
