Sets up and adjusts machine tools on CNC equipment. This includes basic part inspection using hard gauges and measurement tools, routine 6S, part quality inspection using a CMM, changing broken/worn tools, performing minor preventive maintenance, following setup instructions to switch between jobs, interpreting CMM reports, making CNC program offsets for shift/drift or tool length/wear compensation, and making CNC program changes. For this Role, You Will Need:
•High School diploma or GED •Proven shop math skills and computer literate •Exemplary attendance •Must be receptive and able to travel for outside training when necessary. •Ability to read blueprints •Ability to use and understand gages (ie. Micrometers and Hard Gauges) •Forklift experience •At least 2 years prior experience in set up of 5 axis machining/ grinding operations (Experience with Fixture changes and CNC Programming preferred)Benefits
