Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking reliable candidates for a CNC Torch Operator/Material Handler position.  This is a 1st shift position with a pay range of $18-22/hour

1st Shift 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay--$18-22/hour

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Following procedures, and under the direction of the department leader and sales staff, carry out daily operational processes, systems, and customer / supplier relationships concerning burning.  This will include but will not be limited to monitoring burn quality, general torch maintenance, forklift operation, pallet jack operation, promoting a harmonious work environment, and following standards, guidelines, and company policies, other duties as assigned

DUTIES

The ability to report to work daily and on time.  Knows all the functions and features of the cutting department torches.  Assures safety policies are strictly adhered to.  Assures burn quality by monitoring flame to keep deviations to a minimum;                     Adjusting gas and cutting speed; and keeping heads square. Accurately completes all required paperwork; includes item numbers, heat numbers, and count. Forklift and pallet jack operation Performs in-process inspection. Assures timely and accurate completion of jobs. Performs general upkeep of equipment; uses wire brush, oils rails and keeps tips clean and ready to be used. Other duties as assigned

 

***Education equivalent to completion of the 12th grade or GED
