**We currently have an opening for a** **CNC HBM, VTL, & Lathe Operator** **at our facility in** **Barberton, Ohio!**
**Candidates please note: This position is available on our weekend shift which consists of twelve (12) hours on Saturday and Sunday and eight (8) hours on Monday (the eight shift could be Friday instead of Monday); work thirty two (32) hours and get paid for forty (40) hours. Scheduled off days are Tuesday through Friday or Monday through Thursday depending upon the shift. Training will be on the Monday - Friday crew before being assigned to the weekend crew.**
Job Responsibilities
Sets up and operates CNC Horizontal Boring Mill, CNC Vertical Lathe, & CNC Lathe . Utilize CNC controls to operate machines with attachments including right angle heads, CNC facing heads, inspection probes, grinding/tools attachments, and tool setters. Utilize a variety of hand tools including precision measuring equipment & grinding/cleaning equipment. Operate radio and floor operated cranes, tow motors, and any other tools for fulfillment of job duties. Keep work area and machines clean and orderly. Must pass tests such as but not limited to fork truck and crane operator. Edits program as necessary. Reports machine malfunctions and NC program inconsistencies to responsible authorities. Maintains necessary records in accordance with customer and code requirements.
Minimum Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED is required
+ A minimum of 3 + years of experience in machining large components on either CNC VMCs, CNC HBMs, or CNC VTLs
+ Must be open and available to working all shifts
+ Ability to perform set-ups
+ Understanding of drawings and specifications
+ Use of precision measuring equipment
+ Knowledgeable of all machine functions as well as G & M coded commands (prefer familiarization with Siemens or Fanuc controls)
+ Prefer journeyman machinist or equivalent
+ Completion of skills assessment and mechanical aptitude test prior to consideration
+ Must be open and available to working all shifts
