What you'll do:
Cardiac and Vascular Intensive Unit is a dynamic setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients that require therapies, complex cardiothoracic surgeries and mechanical devices.
The Clinical Nurse Leader RN is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the coordination and effective operation of the unit on the assigned shift. CNL Performs duties in the nursing capacity as needed and is qualified.
Registered Nurse Opportunity for career advancement and pathway to leadership providing patient care alongside a respectable, attentive team in a skillful and educated atmosphere, led by a supervisor and director who are hands on and supportive.
Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements
Education:
Required: Associates or Diploma in nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in specialty area preferred . One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Required:
Current Arizona RN license or compact state license
American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS
