Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Lanigan Potash site beginning May 2025 for a 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work. This student will report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer.

 

What you will do:

Provide technical support on asset reliability initiatives such as vibration monitoring, operator rounds and data analytics  Conduct field work (at site), including field vibration measurements and project scoping for equipment improvement initiatives  Work in an office setting and in an industrial facility

 

What you will bring:

Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution Demonstrate positive safety behaviour and safety leadership Superior interpersonal teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
