Co-op, R&D Software Engineer (Jan - June)

The R&D Engineering team is part of the Surgical Research and Development at Hologic. This team is responsible for the research and development of our current capital product portfolio as well as future product development in the area of women's gynecological health. 

The student selected for this role will help with software development tasks and testing associated with the existing current devices and future products. The chosen candidate will learn the process of Medical Device design, development, testing, and the importance of documentation.

Be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January – June. Rising Junior or Senior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and have at least one semester left after co-op Majoring in: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science Have a 3.2/4.0 GPA preferred Experience with: C, C++, and/or Java code design and development  Experience with: Embedded Systems Lab skills in the area of debugging using an oscilloscope, DMM, or soldering skills Strong organizational, problem-solving & analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working on multiple tasks when prioritized by your manager

Ability to work onsite at our Marlborough, MA campus. Student housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided.

The hourly pay range for this role is $26 - $28 per hour. Compensation is determined by class standing and operational function.
