Located in Calgary, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Nitrogen East Site Accounting, Nutrien has an exciting Co-op opportunity within Finance. Providing invaluable work experience in a growing company, this term position will begin in May 2025 for 12 months. 

 

What you will do:

As a key resource for the successful completion of the month-end closing process for the Nitrogen and Phosphate plants, you will;

Collaborate with Plant Site Accountants to ensure Month End Deliverables are completed on time. Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately. Conduct variance analysis within the trial balance and highlight possible issues or solutions. Support the preparation of periodic financial reports for management. Adhoc projects as assigned.

 

What you will bring:

Currently enrolled in a Business degree with an Accounting major, preferably in 3rd or 4th year, with a graduation date of June 2025 or later.
