IT Co-op/Intern

We are looking for an IT Co-op/Intern to join our Target Rock team!

As our IT Co-op you will be the point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization’s desktop computing environment. All IT uses are reported through the companies Help Desk System. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. You will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. In addition, you will also be required to enter, update and close support request in the help desk portal. This task should be completed with little supervision.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Salary/hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00

Your Challenge

Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.

Image and Reimage desktop and laptop computers using Microsoft System Center.

Communicate with employees on replacement or upgrades to the current system.

Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.

What You Bring

Must be a US citizen.

Basic computer knowledge.

Be familiar with Windows 10 and 11.
