Your Key Responsibilities Work toward identifying and implementing cost reduction ideas Negotiate with suppliers in order to minimize price increases impact Lead continues improvement projects Take the lead in identifying root causes and solutions for supplier's quality incidents Take initiative on finding resourcing opportunities and develop new suppliers Your Qualifications Post-secondary education in materials management, production planning, purchasing or related discipline. APICS certification is an asset. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a manufacturing environment is desired. The incumbent must have strong planning, organizing and presentation skills Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP, ERP software), basic understanding of business administration and multi-task oriented.
