Your Key Responsibilities Apply the principles of the Schaeffler Production System (SPS) to optimize manufacturing processes Develop detailed working instructions for various processes using the software available at the location Create troubleshooting guidelines to address common issues in the manufacturing process Develop set-up sheets for machinery and equipment to ensure consistent and efficient operations Conduct time studies to analyze and improve process efficiency in B&IS plants Analyze current processes to identify areas where automation can increase efficiency and reduce costs Your Qualifications
Required:
Available for a 16 month internship working on site at Stratford, Ontario Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of automation technologies and their applications in manufacturing. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Eagerness to learn and apply new concepts and techniques in a practical setting Flexibility to travel to different locations as required for project workPreferred:
