Job Description- Rehab Tech position in a busy outpatient multidisciplinary site located at 148 39th St 7th Floor in Brooklyn. Services provided at this site include: physical therapy and physician services. Responsibilities include preparing equipment/modalities, monitoring of patients performing exercise program, communication to PT if patient is not performing program properly, printing up home exercise programs developed by the PT, interaction with all disciplines to optimize patient care, helping to keep a safe, clean and obstacle free environment to enhance patient flow. Shifts may vary: Mon-Fri, from 7am-7.30pm. Shifts will be 8 hours per day.
Qualifications desired-Interest in physical therapy, integrative medicine
Skills- Good communication skills, good customer service skills, good judgment
Personal Qualities- Flexible, friendly, self-motivated
Notes- Students are expected to attend all section and department in-services. Our goal is that the student participates in the educational experiences available at this teaching institution.
Dress code- Khakis with solid color polo type shirt
*Note- Access to clinic is available through public transport however requires some walking after to reach clinic site.
