Co-Op Student - Purchasing - Fort Mill - Summer 2025

Your Key Responsibilities

The successful co-op student will be provided with a project charter and description during their onboarding process.  The co-op will provide key deliverables in their assigned area at the end of their co-op assignment. Project examples can include but are not limited to: 

 

Support SAP migration initiative by maintaining accurate and up-to-date data records, ensuring compliance with company standards and processes.

Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to gather necessary information for data integration and migration, helping to streamline the procurement workflow.

Support the implementation of Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) processes to enhance communication and coordination with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries.

Participate in the Global Track & Trace (GTL) project, helping to establish traceability of goods throughout the supply chain for improved visibility and inventory management.

Conduct regular audits of purchasing data and supplier information to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions, enhancing the overall accuracy of records.

Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and SAP migration progress to assist management in decision-making processes.

Your Qualifications

Required 

 

High school diploma or equivalent 

Must be pursuing an academic degree 

Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester

 

Preferred

 

Pursuing degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite 

Excellent communication ability (written & verbal) 

Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results 

Assertive approach to solving problems 

Ability to prioritize according to given tasks
