Quanex is looking for a Coating Process Technician to join our team located in Owatonna, Minnesota.

In this role you are responsible for supporting the technical process of our surface finishing operations, including powder coating, zinc plating, and wastewater treatment.  This includes the equipment to ensure delivery of high-quality products.

What Success Looks Like:

Support and monitor surface finishing processes. Conduct tests, trials and generate reports for engineering. Assist with calculations for balancing, chemical dosage, and automation. Support validations and qualifications for processes and products to ensure compliance with specifications. Coordinate and collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless operations.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in manufacturing operations. Chemical laboratory analysis, preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. Flexibility in schedule to support multiple shifts.

The hourly salary rate for this position is $25.00.
