We are seeking a Coatings Inspector NACE - Level I for a position in Port Sulphur, LA. The Coatings Inspector inspects, accepts and\/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site Manager \/ Inspection Area Manager; Develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties \/ performs complex duties within established guidelines.\n

Essential Qualifications:\n\nHigh school or equivalent\nTWIC required\nMinimum five (5) years' experience\nCertified Welding Inspector preferred\nValid driver's license\nWorking knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc.\nTechnical training and\/or industrial related safety experience \nPost offer drug \/ alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy\nComply with company and client job site safety requirements\nMust not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace\n\n

Functional Requirements: \n

Develops an understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work; performs inspections and witnesses tests to determine acceptability of work; performs audits to ensure compliance with QA\/QC requirements; defines corrective measures for problem areas and ensures implementation; maintains work performance records, inspection records and other related items; assures correctness of all documents; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction\n

Physical Involvement:\n
