POSITION PURPOSE
Under general supervision, obtains guests’ beverage orders. Ensure accurate and timely service of all orders by working with bar personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintain 20 minute rounds of assigned section to obtain beverage orders from guests and provide beverage services. Ensure guests’ ordering and consuming alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age.
Maintains and ensures checklist to completion including but not limited to opening and closing procedures.
Accurately enter guest order information into Server Micros screen in a timely manner.
Communicate beverage orders to bar personnel based on order call standards.
Deliver beverage orders to customers throughout assigned section.
Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.
Participates in liquor pull ensuring compliance with all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations.
Attempt to limit problems related to guests’ excessive drinking by providing responsible alcohol service.
Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, coasters, glassware, ashtrays, etc.
Maintain assigned section by collecting used glassware, ashtrays and picking up trash.
Provide amenities to guests such as matches and ashtrays.
Follow through on any reasonable request made by management.
Required to participate in wearing special event uniform provided for Holidays and other special occasions deemed by management.
Carryout and follow through with preparation and other requirements of all event requests, on and off property.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Excellent guest service and communication skills. Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, crowds and air quality. Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license
Must be at least 21 years of age
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests
Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 3 months experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
