Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. Responsibilities

Model Marketing Cocktail Server are an élite, experienced group of professionals that have an acute attention to detail, can be flexible and adjust to their surroundings, and are able to have fun and seem carefree in a very fast-paced environment.  Moreover, they are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the venue while marketing to potential customers at all times. Works in an efficient and professional manner and able to maintain the cleanliness of workstations and equipment. Participates in in-house modeling programs, special events, Banquet service functions, and performs model/presenter tasks at events.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Model Marketing Cocktail Server is responsible for providing quality guest service while preparing and serving tableside beverages and, on occasion, food and amenities on a timely mannerResponsible for handling cash and credit card transactions at the Point of Sale system (POS)Initiates and engages in conversation with all guests in a professional and friendly mannerAbility to pour drinks and mix well-balanced cocktails and shots following standard recipesActs as an ambassador of the venue, markets the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer baseCollects customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of their personal clienteleMeets marketing requirements established by management, as per the Company's Marketing Requirement PlanPrepares all products according to established venue recipes, focusing on proper portion size controlExhibits and executes a complete knowledge of the venue’s sequence of service and selling techniqueProvides each customer with a properly itemized bill and secure payment according to established venue proceduresWorks with a sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs and assist other team members when the opportunity arisesCommunicates with management, VIP hosts & service team to rectify any and all customer needs, comments or incidentsEnsures that assigned area, side station, tables and POS stations are clean and well stocked at all timesCommunicates and works with all support team to ensure inventory is maintained at established par levelsAdheres to all established policies, procedures and guidelinesMaintain excellent customer service skills & high service standards in a constantly changing environment

Interacts and entertains guests in professional, cordial, and friendly

Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or olderA minimum of two (2) years of experience in a high volume, service focused restaurant or nightclubPrevious cocktail serving experience in a high-volume nightclub environment preferred Must possess a valid alcohol awareness card and a health department cardMust be self-motivated, constantly striving to improve skills and knowledge Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral, multilingual skills is a plusPrevious modeling experience preferred, but not requiredMust have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, champagne and mixed cocktailsMust be able to mix well-balanced cocktails and shotsMust be able to operate point of sales systems terminal

 Social Media Requirements:

Must meet social communication standards and requirements in promoting and marketing the venueMust use personal social media accounts to market the venueMust use the following social media platforms for work: Twitter, Facebook, and InstagramMust develop personal clientele list Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materialsMust market and promote venue specific eventsMust adheres to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines

Work Environment:

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noiseMust be able to lift and carry a tray, weighing a minimum of 25 pounds in a busy, crowded and dimly lit environmentMust be able to stand or walk a minimum if eight (8) hour shifts and work inside assigned bar area in the venueMust be able to stand; walk; use hands handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smellSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
