403b + matching Up to 4 weeks paid time off in first year Onsite childcare - Quincy & Pittsfield locations 24/7 Wellness Center access - Quincy & Pittsfield locations Educational assistance opportunities JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for assigning International Classification of Disease diagnoses, CPT procedure codes, HCPCS codes and Evaluation and Management codes to all physician offices, emergency department, and outpatients occasions of services for billing and reimbursement purposes, as well as for the hospital, state, and federal data systems. Must be able to work independently and as a team. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills Knowledge of Medical Terminology, anatomy, disease processes, pharmacology, surgical procedures and abbreviations.
